STUBBS/MILLER, PIPER/ZELLERS/FAROUX, BUSSARD/LASH/STEINER

And plenty of other collateral families

The hard disk crash in mid-June of 2024 deleted everything. I had to start all over from scratch and input all data, again, from paper sources. So, until I can get updates, the state of the GEDCOM file is the late '90s. I'll rectify the problem shortly, with a little help from my friends and relatives

Privacy & Security This web server is protected by several different methods. The connection between your browser and this server is encrypted, with a certificate from Let's Encrypt (no more $200/year!). Which makes evesdropping on the connection, near impossible for all but nation-states. Don't really think that North Korea is really interested in my family geneaology. I have modified the robots.txt file, to exclude all search engine's spiders from crawling the site. Nothing should appear in a Google search. The genealogy software, by default, will not show detailed information of living persons in this exported site. It, also, permits me to mark an individual's info as private, so that it will not appear in charts and reports. Since the site is available on the web, I should password protect it (and will, at some some point), but I need the help of relatives to fill in the empty branches and, basically, the last 30 years. They need to see it, to help out.

Always been fascinated by genealogy, as a youngster. Now a days, you are lucky to meet your great-grandparents, let alone really know any of the events in their life. Such is the American family dynamics, kids grow up and move across the country. Generation later, none of the "cousins" really know each other.

This site is just for browsing, all editing is done in the actual genealogy application running on my mac. The nice feature of the software, is that not only is it stored locally (on my mac), it is also stored in iCloud. No more data input!!! I'll update this site on a weekly basis from local files.

There are two ways to get to information.
First, if you just want a PDF of one of the families, click on the Charts_Reports menu item. You can download them from there.
Second, the The Tree menu item. It will start out in graphical mode. You can click through the generations, ascending/descending to reach your target person. Unfortunatly, since I was the first one entered, I'm the start person. My bad. Rather than navigating through the entire tree, person at a time, just click on the "Persons" menu item, to see a listing of everyone by last names. If a person is marked with a gold star, that is the current root of the branch.

If you would desire a sub-section of GEDCOM file, for your own use, or a custom chart/report for a specfic branch, just let me know.

If you have an AppleID (anyone can get an AppleID, without buying an Apple product), and wish to add/modify/edit any of the data, I'll send you an invite, so that you can edit the iCloud version. (it's reflected back to my local storage). Still getting familiar with the software, but the privacy restrictions seem adequate, but I'd appreciate any comments/concerns.
